The Three Most Important Winter Driving Tips for 2023

"What are the three most important tips for somebody as we look into winter regarding vehicle safety?"

"I think we really want to make sure that our vehicles are safe, first of all. If you're going to be driving, doing any road trips, or even around town,  we want to make sure your tires are in good shape, your belts and hoses are in good shape, your fluids are ready to take you through the winter, and just an overall safety inspection of the vehicle.

Second, we want to make sure that you're safe as a person. That if you have any warning lights on in your vehicle, you aren't losing any critical systems from working like your anti-lock brakes, or your traction control, we want to make sure and get that stuff fixed, so that if you find yourself in a situation driving on ice or snow, you have all the tools in your toolbox capable of driving your vehicle safely.

Number three, you want to make sure that you're also prepared if the worst does happen. So if you do get a breakdown on a road trip and you're stuck in the middle of nowhere, you want to make sure to have blankets in your car, warm jackets, plenty of water, you know, a charged cell phone. Things that, if it happens, so you're prepared for them."
