$30 Tire Repair in Omaha | Gateway Auto

Nail in your tire? Flat tire? Need a tire patched/plugged? Gateway Auto Service Center can get you in right away and assist you in getting back on the road as fast as possible.

Picked up a nail? We repair punctured tires quickly and safely. Not all tire damage can be repaired - we'll tell you honestly whether repair is safe or replacement is necessary.

When We Can Repair

Tire repair is safe when:

  • Puncture is in the tread area (not sidewall)
  • Puncture is less than 1/4 inch diameter
  • Tire has adequate remaining tread depth
  • No previous repairs in the same area
  • No damage to tire sidewalls or belts

Our Repair Process

We use proper plug-patch combination repairs (not just quick plugs). The tire comes off the rim, we inspect the inside for hidden damage, apply a patch to the inside, plug the hole, and remount the tire. This is the only safe, permanent repair method.

When Replacement is Necessary

We can't repair:

  • Sidewall punctures or damage
  • Large punctures (over 1/4 inch)
  • Multiple punctures in same area
  • Tires worn below 2/32" tread depth
  • Damage from driving on flat tire
  • Separated belts or internal damage

Tire Safety

Never drive on a flat or severely underinflated tire. This causes internal damage that makes the tire unrepairable and unsafe even if it holds air afterward.

Cost

Our tire repairs typically cost $20-$30. Much cheaper than new tires when repair is possible.
