Questions & answers
Do I have to go to the dealer for scheduled maintenance?
No. Under the federal Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act, a manufacturer generally cannot void your warranty because an independent shop did the maintenance, as long as the work meets the specification and you keep the records. We follow the factory schedule and document what was done.
What is actually in a 30, 60 or 90k service?
It varies by manufacturer, which is the point. We work from your vehicle's actual schedule rather than a generic package, so you are not paying for a transmission service at 30,000 miles if your manufacturer does not call for one until 60,000.
