What we do

- Choose the right tire. We explain the options and recommend tires for your vehicle, your budget, and how you drive, with quotes for more than one option.
- Mounting and balancing. The new tires are mounted and balanced with new valve stems.
- Checks while the wheels are off. Installation includes a visual brake inspection, and the wheels are torqued to manufacturer specifications.
- Old tires handled. Tire disposal is included. To get full life from the new set, check pressure monthly and rotate every 5,000 to 7,500 miles.

Tire Selection Help
All-Season Tires
Best for most Omaha drivers. Work year-round in rain, light snow, and dry conditions. Most popular option for cars and SUVs.
Winter/Snow Tires
Superior traction in snow and ice. Rubber compound stays flexible in freezing temperatures. If you drive through Omaha winters regularly, winter tires significantly improve safety. Install in November, remove in March.
Performance Tires
Better handling and cornering for sports cars and performance vehicles. Trade-off: shorter tread life and less comfortable ride.
All-Terrain and Mud-Terrain (Trucks/SUVs)

Questions & answers
How do I know if I need new tires?
The penny test is the quick version: put a penny upside down in the tread, and if you can see all of Lincoln's head the tire is done. Below 4/32 inch you have lost real wet and snow traction, and 2/32 is the legal minimum but not a safe one. Also replace for sidewall damage, irregular wear, or age past six to eight years regardless of tread.
Do I have to replace all four tires at once?
Not always, but matching matters more than people expect. On all wheel drive vehicles most manufacturers want all four within a small tread depth difference, because a mismatch strains the drivetrain. On front or rear wheel drive you can often do a pair, as long as they go on the same axle and match what is already there.
Do I need winter tires in Omaha?
All season tires handle most Omaha winters. If you commute through the worst of it or you are on a rear wheel drive vehicle, winter tires are a real safety difference because the rubber stays flexible below freezing. Install in November, come off in March.
