Common problems we fix

What we see most often in our bays. Recognize one? Book an inspection and we will show you what we find.

Oil filter adapter oil leaks

Oil dripping from the top or back of the engine, usually from a leaking oil filter adapter or its gasket.

Engine Services

Rough idle and engine misfires

A shaky idle, hesitation and a check engine light with misfire codes, sometimes from a clogged EGR tube.

Check Engine Light Diagnostic

Cam sensor failure causing stalling

The engine stalls, dies once warm or will not restart, often traced to a failed camshaft position sensor.

Electrical

Coolant leaks and overheating

Coolant puddles under the vehicle, low coolant or overheating, often from rear heater lines or engine coolant passages.

Cooling & Heating

Broken exhaust manifold bolts

A ticking or tapping sound from the engine bay, loudest on a cold start, when exhaust manifold bolts snap.

Exhaust & Emissions

Harsh shifting and transmission shudder

Hard or delayed shifts, a shudder on takeoff or erratic gear changes, often needing a software update or repair.
